In the event the batteries die before you can open it to change them, there is a convenient emergency key-lock override system with two keys, power override battery box, built-in spy-proof function and motion detector alert.

The lock can accept two unique user codes and can show open door records for the past 14 entries. If you and your kids have a different code, you'll be able to know when they've been meddling around.

While having a heavy duty steel body, 3/16" solid steel door and flange, this wall safe still fits conveniently in-between the wall studs. It's designed for easy installation between 16 o/c wall studs with pre-drilled anchor holes and a built-in flange eliminating unnecessary replastering.

Once the correct combination has been entered, you'll notice the extra spacious interior with two removable shelves for convenient storage.

Keeping papers and valuables inside zip lock bags and Tupperware help when experiencing a fire or flood, humidity will still seep inside causing mildew and corrosion. We strongly recommend using a Lockdown Silica Gel Can to absorb this moisture and keep your valuables safe. It's a small, rechargeable unit that has a color indicator letting you know it's full and needs to be renewed. You should open your safe (especially after initial installation) frequently to assess moisture and check the silica gel.
