Created in New Orleans in 1951, bananas foster is a signature dessert like nothing else in the world. With freshly roasted coffee, this flavor is sublime.

To make bananas foster using our recipe, you will need 1/4 cup of spiced rum, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 stick of butter, 4 tbsp of heavy whipping cream, 2 bananas, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Combine everything but the bananas in a pan. Stir attentively on medium-high heat until a caramel sauce is formed. You can also substitute 1 tsp of rum concentrated flavoring if you want bananas foster without rum alcohol.

Once the mixture looks like caramel, add two sliced bananas. Stir until they are coated and warm. Use a large spoon to gently serve over vanilla ice cream for the perfect touch! Or, skip all of the hassles of making your own bananas foster and get the same flavors in our gourmet coffee.
