A bold and deserved reputation, the Homage is perhaps our most expert Syrah. It is elegant yet densely concentrated, like many great wines, expressing harmonious layers of dark fruit, earthy spice and minerals. This wine is European-styled as a homage to former winemaker John Hancock's Northern Rhone mentor, Gerard Jaboulet, who donated the clones of Syrah (and a little Viognier) that make up this classic Cote Rotie style.
